Un dia, jo

Creadors EN RESiDÈNCiA is the program of the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona (ICUB) and the Consorci d’Educació de Barcelona (CEB) that wants to promote the practice of contemporary creation in the city’s public secondary schools. The Lliure participates in it as a mediator, in the course 22/23 with an artist chosen by public call for the first time in the twelve years of the program: Marina Congost.

On Un dia, jo it will be worked with special interest on topics related to the construction of cultural identity and its representation. Congost wants to take this "I" to the youth and their history to reflect on broader issues. Giving the utmost importance to the story and the story (own and group), will play with the concepts of truth and lie, and also with the fine line between reality and fiction. In this process the strength of the stories we are told and told, which we often take for great truths, will be questioned. And you will see how they generate empathy and connection with each other. In short: stories, truth and lies.

From September and during the school year, the project will be developed in a public institute in Barcelona, and at the end of the year will be presented in a public exhibition.
