Lliure and Territory

The Teatre Lliure and the Diputació de Barcelona start Perspectives, a pilot program to bring the cultural activity of the Lliure to other municipalities in the demarcation. On September, October and November, Perspectives will pass through a dozen Barcelona municipalities to bring the performing arts closer to the territory and establish firm and lasting links between this theatre and territory.

The Perspectives are packages of activities that offer scenic productions with the seal of quality of the Lliure, accompanied by a series of cultural and educational experiences outside the stages that contextualize them.

In addition, two major Teatre Lliure productions will tour Catalonia starting in January 2023, with the support of the Government of Catalonia: Fàtima by Jordi Prat i Coll, and Yerma by Federico García Lorca, directed by Juan Carlos Martel Bayod. Yerma can also be seen on stages elsewhere in Spain.
