Description
After Le congrès ne marche pas, La Calòrica arrives in Montjuïc with an existential and political comedy, individual and collective. Anxiety, connection and the desperate need to have perfectly standard new experiences.
An old mountain hotel in the middle of nowhere. Some have come from far away to feel the majestic deer's bellow; all the guides describe it as a unique experience. Others have come to close a major real estate deal or try to save their marriage. There is also a group of stage creators who expect to spend a few days discussing the possibilities of political theater to transform society, and two girls lost in the woods, looking for a secret party that, according to some, it’s been held in that valley for a thousand years.
Multiple stories, characters that intersect: some are paralyzed by the feeling of emptiness, others need to escape from the noise... But everyone is alone in the world, or so they believe. Meanwhile, days go by and no one has heard the deer's bellow yet .
