Description
Third edition of this educational and artistic project of the Institut de Cultura, the Institut d’Educació de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Teatre Lliure is based on the co-creation of a show between different public educational centers in Barcelona, under the leadership of a stage direction professional.
This year the artists Anna Serrano will work with the students and teachers of the institutes: El Joncar, Caterina Albert, Emperador Carles, Milà i Fontanals and Pedralbes.
"In this collective creation we will investigate the different rituals, from the most everyday to the most spiritual, through the most political, the introspective, and the celebration. The birthday of 16, leaving behind old friends, making new ones, going to a rally, a lonely night in the woods, a bonfire, the last day of elementary school, going for the first time to the disco, moving out of town. These events we share will make us feel part of a collective, fight for the same cause, be together in this rite of passage that is to leave childhood behind and get into youth. Welcome to our ritual."
