Julio Manrique is returning to Jez Butterworth with this multiple-award-winning play. In Northern Ireland 1981, are beating identity conflicts, individual and collective yearnings, and the weight of violence and death in a world that is bursting with life.

One day in late August in Northern Ireland during the Troubles of 1981. While a group of young IRA prisoners assert their status as political prisoners with a hunger strike that has already left several dead, harvest day is being celebrated on the Carney farm, a day of celebration that will be punctuated by an unexpected event.
